Guillermo "Bill" Monroy is the president and owner of Acassa Construction Corp.  He is a Florida licensed general contractor, as well as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accredited professional (LEED AP) from the US Green Building Council.

Mr. Monroy holds a Master of Science degree in Construction Management from the University of Reading (Reading, England), one of the most prestigious universities in Europe in that field of work.   He also holds a Bachelor of Arts arts degree from the University of Maryland (College Park, MD) in Architecture and Urban Planning.

After working in Europe for large developers in some of the biggest projects, Mr. Monroy became licensed as a Florida Certified General Contractor in 1992.  He has extensive experience in managing both commercial and residential construction projects and is well versed in the area of  home automation and "intelligent buildings", as it was the topic of his Master's thesis.
